Spark the Dream Social Challenge

The FWD Spark the Dream Social Challenge is an annual competition for primary school students (typically Grade 6) in the Asia-Pacific region, organized by Junior Achievement (JA) and FWD Insurance. Students form teams of four to six to identify a local community problem and propose a solution, integrating financial literacy and real-world money skills like budgeting, saving, and understanding needs versus wants. They then create a one- to two-minute video showcasing their innovative solution.
The challenge is part of the larger JA SparktheDream program, which aims to empower young people as agents of change, promote financial literacy, encourage innovation and entrepreneurship, and address social and economic challenges through youth-led initiatives.
