The JA Ice Cream Making Workshop with Corteva was an innovative educational event held at Banm Saleak School, focusing on hands-on learning and integrating STEM concepts into everyday experiences. This workshop brought together 40 students, 7 teachers, and 5 dedicated volunteers from Corteva in a collaborative and interactive setting.
Students learned ice cream making and explored biology by extracting and observing strawberry DNA, gaining insights into food science and molecular biology in a fun, interactive setting.
By merging science, innovation, and entrepreneurship, the workshop highlighted the potential of experiential learning to inspire the next generation of thinkers and leaders. The involvement of Corteva volunteers added a professional perspective, further enriching the students’ educational journey.
